The American president calls on legislators to send documents to him for signature as soon as possible.
US President Joe Biden responded approvingly to the adoption in the House of Representatives of the bill on military and financial assistance to Ukraine. He called on the Senate (the upper house of Congress) to consider this document as soon as possible and send it to the White House for signature.

He said he’d sign it the minute it gets to him.
Unfortunately, the House didn’t simply pass the Senate bill, so now this needs to go back to the Senate – meaning more delay.

I recall that back in January, Republican senators demanded 72-hours to review a Ukraine funding bill. Maybe that’s what’s going on here – Senator Schumer did everything he could, but they have to wait until Tuesday before they can vote in order to allow the senators time to read the bill.
Hmm, ok, that looks like a reasonable explanation, Larry, but it’s still annnoying detail on this great day. 🙁

He’s a retired Lt. Col., so hardly an expert on anything. And, he certainly has never followed the miracles that the Ukrainians have accomplished, over and over again.
He’s in the McGregor camp of experts. The ones claiming mafia land would win in a week.
So, he’s in the loser camp.
