US President Joe Biden called for an investigation into the war crimes of Russian President Vladimir Putin and said he would demand increased sanctions against Russia.
AP writes about it . Biden called Putin “cruel”.
“What’s happening in Bucha is outrageous and everyone sees it,” Biden added.
“We must continue to provide Ukraine with the weapons it needs to continue the fight. And we must gather all the details to make it real – to hold a war crimes trial,” Biden said.
Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wrote that the European Union would send investigators to Ukraine to help the Attorney General document war crimes .
The killings of civilians in Ukraine by Russian invaders will be recognized as genocide. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
