I am a lifelong Republican. And, I was never a great fan of Bernie Sanders. However, today, I stand with him. I stand with him because he is standing for democracy, and democracy is what our country is all about. Trump and his fellow gangsters are in the process of destroying our precious democracy.
Never forget; democracy is a very precious thing to have. It’s gone quicker than it can be regained. Once, gone, it will be exceedingly difficult to get back. Every other type of political system outside of democracy is despotic in nature. Nazism, fascism, communism, oligarchy, putinism, or tin-pot dictatorships, whatever you want to call it, it brings nothing but misery to the population.
And that’s why I stand with Mr. Sanders today.
