Shootout with a large number of participants, eyewitnesses say.

In Kherson on the morning of Tuesday, August 30, explosions thundered, automatic bursts were heard.

This is reported by local publics.

Shots from pistols and machine guns, as well as from underbarrel grenade launchers, were heard in several areas at once.

On August 29, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially announced  the start of a military counteroffensive  in the Kherson region. The advance of the Ukrainian forces is accompanied by the destruction of Russian logistics in the occupied territories.

Ukraine keeps silent about the progress in the de-occupation of the regions, and Russia says that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was suppressed on the same day in the evening.

As of August 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in five directions – in Kharkov, Slavyansk, Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Yuzhnobugsky. Artillery shelling continues in some areas near Avdiivka.

Together with the beginning of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia again hit civilians in Nikolaev. On the morning of August 30,  the enemy attacked Zaporozhye .
