In Sumy, the aftermath of the enemy strike continues to be eliminated; so far, 9 people are known to have been injured, including one child. Early in the morning, rescuers pulled the bodies of two people from under the rubble. And now there is information about two more dead.
According to the State Emergency Service, emergency workers managed to save 4 people, including one child, and 118 people were also evacuated.
“Psychologists and doctors from the State Emergency Service are working. Two canine teams have been brought in… Special equipment for high-altitude work is working,” the State Emergency Service noted, adding that emergency rescue and search operations are continuing.
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that rescuers pulled the bodies of two people from under the rubble – a man and a woman. Also, preliminary information is available about 9 victims, including a child.
The Sumy OVA reported that as of 8:00, as a result of an enemy “shahed” hitting a multi-story residential building, 4 people were killed. “Rescuers pulled out the bodies of two more people from under the destroyed structures of the residential building on the 5th floor,” the State Emergency Service added.
The OVA reported on the condition of the victims that 5 people were hospitalized, including a child, three are in serious condition.

On the night of January 30, the enemy attacked one of the 10-story residential buildings in Sumy. As a result of the attack, 5 apartments on four floors and 12 balconies were preliminarily destroyed. Updated 17:38 . According to the State Emergency Service of the Sumy Region, rescuers have freed the body of another person from under the rubble of a house. Thus, the number of dead has increased to seven.
It is also noted that as of 17:00, 13 people were injured, including a child. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing.

According to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, as of 15:30, as a result of the enemy attack on the multi-story building, six people were killed, namely three married couples – a 74-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife, a 65-year-old man and his 64-year-old wife, a 61-year-old man and his 61-year-old wife.
