The body of an attache of the US Embassy in Ukraine was found in one of the rooms of the Hilton hotel in Kyiv . This happened on Tuesday, June 25, the diplomatic department confirmed to RBC-Ukraine .
“We can confirm the death of a US government employee under the direction of the Chief of Mission at the Embassy in Kyiv. The State Department expresses its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of our colleague,” the agency said.
The embassy refused to comment on the death of the employee, arguing it was a matter of confidentiality.
