Partisans of the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar military movement “Atesh” conducted another successful sabotage operation against the occupiers in the territory of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia. In the Kherson region, they weakened the Russian communications and electronic warfare system.
This was achieved by disabling the transformer cabinet of the communications tower, on which electronic warfare antennas were installed. How this affected the ability of the occupation forces to defend themselves from Ukrainian strikes, was reported on the Telegram channel “Atesh”.
What is known
The successful sabotage, which “Atesh” called “a strike on the communications system” and “a weakening of the occupiers’ electronic warfare”, was carried out by an agent of the movement on the Arabatskaya Strela – near the temporarily occupied settlement of Strilkove.
An “Ates” agent set fire to the transformer cabinet of the communications tower, causing it to malfunction. The movement added that electronic warfare antennas were also placed on the tower itself. They are currently not working, “Ates” claims.
“After the damage, the equipment stopped working normally. Communication and electronic cover in this area are now practically absent, which creates an air “window” for UAV strikes on the occupiers in Crimea,” the movement noted.
“Atesh” emphasized: even if not very large-scale, regular sabotage actions against the occupiers bring victory closer.
“The actions of Atesh agents demonstrate that even remote and, at first glance, protected areas remain vulnerable. The pressure on infrastructure continues to undermine the capabilities of the occupation forces and deprives them of a sense of security in the rear. Atesh continues its resistance, striking at vulnerable elements of the occupation forces’ command and communications system,” the report states.
OBOZ.UA previously reported that, according to Atesh, the FSB is using schools to put pressure on families in Severodonetsk.
“Atesh” also told how the Russian command doomed its soldiers to destruction in Kupyansk. The occupiers were left with virtually no chance of survival primarily due to the Russian command’s false reports about “successes” on this front line.
