At least 314 Belarusian citizens who fought against Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation died, – “I Want to Live.” LIST

More than 1,300 Belarusian citizens are fighting on the side of Russia against Ukraine. At least 314 of them have already died.

“Let’s emphasize right away: this list is not complete. The real number of dead and missing Belarusians is probably much higher.

” The Russian authorities are hiding both their own losses and the deaths of their mercenaries . However, the 314 deaths we have already established are a huge figure for any country. For comparison: 723 Belarusians died in the ten years of the Afghan war,” the report says.

The oldest of the deceased is Vasyl Kazimirovych Shkornyk, born on August 20, 1962. He was 63 years old. Four months after signing the contract, he was liquidated.

The youngest is Korenkov Mikhail Nikolaevich, born on February 21, 2007. He went missing at the age of 18.

“On average, about 6.5 months pass from the moment the contract is signed to the recognition of the deceased. The largest number of deceased served in units of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division.

Many of those killed were recruited in Russian prisons. However, among the Belarusians fighting against Ukraine, there are also more notable figures – primarily servicemen of the 5th Separate Special Forces Brigade from Maryin Gorka.

“How Belarusian special forces end up in the war, as well as how many of them have already been killed or wounded, is a separate issue that the Belarusian media should pay attention to,” they added.
