The US Senate will consider a bill on military and financial assistance to Ukraine supported by the House of Representatives on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
This was announced by the leader of the Democratic majority in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, writes Independent . In addition to the bill on support for Ukraine, two more bills on assistance to foreign countries are expected to be approved – Israel and Taiwan.

It is noted that some legislative acts have already been approved by the upper house of the US Congress. This made the document’s path to the presidential table, where Joe Biden would sign it, “pretty simple.”

Tuesday? Those Senators may think that after a delay of 6 months, a few more days don’t count, but they do! People are dieing in Ukraine while hoping for more shells and missiles to arrive. To let that wait ’til tuesday is NOT ok. 😠
Yes any delay is unfortunate, but the Senators do need a little time to read the final version of what passed the House so that are certain of all of its contents. Normally 48 to 72 hours minimum is required.
