As a result of the tender for the construction of the first section of the RCD, the largest construction company in the United States won

The third, final stage of selection of the contractor for the construction of the first section of the RCD, which will connect the route M-07 Kyiv – Kovel – Yagodyn with M-06 Kyiv – Chop, has been completed.

According to the results of three stages of competitive selection, the winner was the American company – Bechtel Overseas Corporation with a price offer of UAH 5.3 billion.

The construction of the Kyiv Bypass is one of Ukravtodor’s flagship projects, which will involve a reliable contractor with experience in implementing such complex infrastructure projects.

Where and what road are we building?

This is the first 18-kilometer section of the future bypass road from the highway M-07 Kyiv – Kovel – Yagodyn to M-06 Kyiv – Chop. It will be a new Category I road with bridges, overpasses, bio-crossings for animals and an overpass as part of the road. In addition, open parking lots, weighing platforms in motion, noise protection screens and modern lighting will be built.

After concluding the contract, the construction of this modern highway will start.
