On the left bank of the Kherson region, Ukrainian troops destroyed the bridge in Genichesk, which Putin’s army actively used for military logistics. As a result of systematic attacks, several spans of the bridge collapsed.
According to preliminary data, traffic across the bridge has been completely stopped. The results of the strikes on the bridge were published by the monitoring Telegram channel Supernova+.
Enemy logistics are paralyzed.
According to preliminary information, the bridge collapsed not immediately after a specific impact, but as a result of systematic fire damage in recent weeks.
The published photos show that an entire slab in the middle of the roadway fell along with the car. The network also writes that there are deaths as a result of the falling vehicle.

Consequences for the front
The Genichny automobile bridge across the Tonky Strait, as well as the old railway bridge passing nearby, and the route along the Arabatskaya Spit itself are of critical military and logistical importance for the Russian occupation forces.
After the Ukrainian Defense Forces began to regularly launch effective strikes on the main logistical arteries, the role of the Arabat Arrow for the Russian army significantly increased.
The route through Genichesk and the Arabatskaya Spit is one of three key routes connecting the occupied Crimean peninsula with the mainland of Ukraine (along with Armyansk and Chongar).
When major routes, such as the M-18 through Chongar, are severely damaged by missile strikes or drone attacks, the Arabatskaya Spit remains the most important corridor for the Russians. It is used to transfer manpower, equipment, and ammunition from Crimean logistics hubs to the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions.

As a reminder, Ukraine used a suicide drone to attack a bridge near Chongar in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, which served as an entrance to Crimea. As a result of the attack, the bridge deck was damaged, which caused the occupiers to block the entrance route to the peninsula.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that for more than ten years, Russian citizens brazenly lived in occupied Crimea, buying up real estate, developing businesses, and behaving like homes in the occupied territory. However, Putin’s prolonged aggression and the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ regular retaliatory strikes on military and critical infrastructure have brought the occupiers back to harsh reality.

It appears that one driver didn’t see the huge hole in the bridge.
Maybe there are others further down below him. 😄
