Among the individuals exposed by NABU and SAPO in a corruption scheme for the purchase of drones for the military is the former head of the Luhansk Oblast Armed Forces, Serhiy Gaidai, who currently heads the Mukachevo District State Administration.

This is reported by “Suspilne ” with reference to sources, informs Censor.NET.

“The statement of the NABU and SAPO also mentions Serhiy Haiday – the former head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, and currently the head of the Mukachevo District State Administration,” writes “Suspilne”.

Drone corruption scheme

As a reminder, it was previously reported that today, August 2, 2025, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report by NABU Director Semen Kryvonos and SAPO Head Oleksandr Klymenko. It was noted that one of the people’s deputies of Ukraine, as well as heads of district and city administrations, and servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine were exposed for taking bribes .

In addition, NABU reported that large-scale corruption was exposed in the purchase of UAVs and electronic warfare equipment at inflated prices, among the defendants is a current People’s Deputy.

The Anti-Corruption Center reported that among the defendants in the case is People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People party, Oleksiy Kuznetsov.
