Already planned: Zelensky announced new strikes deep into Russia

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are preparing to launch new strikes deep into the territory of the aggressor state , Russia. The appropriate means have been prepared. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Facebook following the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.

“We have analyzed in detail the situation in the Zaporizhia direction and the intentions of the occupier. Also the situation in the border areas of Sumy region and Kharkiv region. We will continue our active actions exactly as needed to protect Ukraine. Forces and means are prepared. New deep strikes have also been planned,” Zelenskyy stressed.

As the president noted, Syrsky’s report primarily concerned the Pokrovsky direction, where the Russian army concentrates its greatest efforts and, accordingly, suffers the greatest losses.

“Our units continue to fulfill assigned tasks in the Donetsk region and methodically destroy the occupier. In total, in just eight months of this year, the Russians lost more than 290,000 of their soldiers killed and seriously wounded along the front. They suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk region, without realizing any of their strategic tasks. Our stabilization measures are currently underway on some sections of the front,” Zelenskyy said.

He expressed gratitude to each unit that ensures the replenishment of the “exchange fund” for Ukraine, and there are corresponding results every week.
