The Russian occupation army has somewhat reduced the number of assaults on
the front line, but the aggressor is already making over a hundred such attempts every day.
The defenders of Ukraine are actively defending themselves and are also carrying out offensive actions.
The details were shared by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrsky , who gave a new interview to TSN. The recording of the conversation was published on YouTube on June 30.
“The situation remains difficult at the front. It would be wrong to underestimate the enemy and assume that he is very weakened and inferior in key areas,” the general noted at the beginning of the interview.
Later, the commander-in-chief assessed the statistics of the battles: enemy activity at the front had decreased by about a third.
“The enemy’s activity has decreased significantly. I wouldn’t say by half, but by one-third for sure,” he said.
In particular, the list of directions where the occupiers are trying to actively advance has been reduced. According to Syrsky, previously there were 13 such sections of the front, but now there are seven, of which four can be called the main ones.
“If we look at the number of daily assault actions, it remains high – an average of 240-260 per day. However, almost 45%, and sometimes up to 50% of them, are offensive actions of Ukrainian units,” said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The general added that the number of invaders has also decreased and currently stands at 722,000 troops, including the operational reserve.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in less than a day on June 30 (as of 10:00 p.m.), 203 clashes took place on the front line.
