A common argument: why would the US save Russia now if its army is on the territory of Ukraine, and not vice versa – the army of Ukraine is on the territory of Russia? They say that this is a sign that everything is fine in Russia.

Such a statement is manipulation, since it has nothing to do with the war of attrition. In a war of attrition, the main role is played by resources, not territory.
Here is a map of the disposition of the forces of the Reich, its allies and satellites for April 1944. Today, in retrospect (and we are always smart in retrospect, let me remind you), we know that at that moment Berlin had no chance. The defeat of the Reich was inevitable – it was only a matter of time.
But if you show this map to a person who knows nothing about that war at all, and say: they say, look, the Reich is not just losing, but is headed for disaster, he will say, oh, but Germany is on the horse! It has so much territory, none of the fronts passes through Germany itself, the Germans are fighting far from home.
Why would his vision be wrong? Because after the failure of the blitzkrieg in the USSR (when territory plays a role, since its rapid occupation and lightning-fast defeat of the enemy’s forces should lead to its surrender), the war turned into a war of attrition.
And in such a war, the Reich has a war against the USSR, the USA, Great Britain (with all its dominions), etc. there were no more chances in terms of resources.
Therefore, one can answer to the person himself: yes, the Reich still has a lot of territory, and the war is still not on the territory of Germany, but look – it has already been pushed back from Moscow and from the greater part of Ukraine.
In the same way as they pushed back the Russians from Kiev, Kherson and Kharkov. The fact that Russia, despite the fact that it remains on the territory of Ukraine, does not mean that everything is fine with it.
All profile OSINT specialists who monitor Soviet stockpiles note that these very stocks are nearing their end, and somewhere they are already completely exhausted.
It is not because of the good life that the Russians moved to motorcycles, donkeys and “Zhiguls” in their attacks, and it is not because of the great military genius that their total losses approach one million.
Only the lazy person didn’t talk about the state of the Russian economy either.
Imagine how in this April 1944, the USA abruptly withdraws, decides not to land in Normandy, not to open a second front, and to completely end Lend-Lease to the USSR.
And without him, the entire military industry of Moscow would simply stand still. Production of tanks would cease, logistics would cease to function. I’m not talking about the fact that thousands of assembled planes, tanks, and locomotives were delivered, and hundreds of thousands of trucks.
And how would the USA argue this? And with that, they say, look at the map – the Reich is everywhere, it has maps, but the USSR, which is still far from the territory of Germany and which is completely dependent on Lend-Lease, has no maps. Plus so many good guys died — millions! This is a disaster! This war should not have started!
And this applies to any war of attrition. Egypt started a war of attrition against Israel in 1967, which lasted until 1970, but again the territory did not play a role.
Israel then occupied the entire Sinai Peninsula and even conducted raids on the western territory of the Suez Canal.
But Cairo did not say, they say, look how the map is not painted in our favor, let’s capitulate then. Because in a war of attrition, resources are important, not the number of covered kilometers.
And this is still the fact that in a war of such a scale as the Russian-Ukrainian war, the movement of the front by ±50 km is a working matter.
Speaking of war of attrition, the mafia army has lost so much equipment, that it now relies on civilian vehicles and various types of two-wheelers for its infantry and transporting supplies, and its artillery is mainly the decades old towed variety with very little self-propelled howitzers left. The same goes for most of its tanks; Soviet-era stuff older than the roaches inside of them. The only thing they have plenty of is meat, but a war cannot be won on meat alone.
The mafia army is thus still big, but it’s mainly a carcass.
