The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, at a meeting with employees of the republic’s security and law enforcement agencies, threatened to kill relatives of Chechens suspected of “Wahhabism . ”
A video from the meeting, which took place on June 25, was published on Kadyrov’s Telegram channel on the same day . The statements of the head of the republic were noticed by the publication “Caucasus. Realities.” According to the journalists’ translation, Kadyrov said the following:
If [the suspect] is associated with the devils, his entire family must be punished. This family must know that they bear full responsibility… And the one who encroaches on his brother ( “Caucasus. Realities” believes that we are talking about police officers – note “Medusa” ), he must understand that in blood feud we will kill everyone – father, brother, uncle… I appeal to the Chechen people – know what your children are doing. You all know the symptoms of Wahhabism, if you see them, immediately report them to the local police officer. It would be better for us to stop him in time than to kill you, your son and your brother later.
In turn, the state agency Chechnya Segodnya reported that Kadyrov threatened to punish “to the fullest extent of the law” the relatives of the person who attempted to kill a law enforcement officer. The agency does not mention blood feud.
A post published in the telegram of the head of Chechnya after the video states that the meeting, among other things, discussed “issues of strengthening work on the prevention of terrorist crimes,” and Kadyrov, in connection with the terrorist attacks in Dagestan, called on the leadership of law enforcement agencies to “strengthen work to ensure public security and prevention of terrorism.”
“I especially noted that any attacks on the lives of law enforcement officials and government agencies will be strictly suppressed. Not only the perpetrators of the crime, but also those who indirectly assisted them in this will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. “I also called on every Chechen to be especially vigilant towards their closest relatives in order to protect them from the harmful influence of terrorist ideology,” Kadyrov’s post said.
The Chechen opposition telegram channel 1ADAT claims that since June 24, raids have been taking place in Chechnya in connection with the terrorist attacks in Dagestan. Other sources did not report this.
Militants attacked Derbent and Makhachkala on June 23. They attacked two Orthodox churches, a synagogue and a traffic police post. Another attack occurred in the village of Sergokala, 80 kilometers from Derbent. According to the latest data, 21 people died as a result of the attacks, including 15 police officers and a member of the Russian National Guard. More than 20 people were injured.

Russia is no paradise…………………………
I thought the garden gnome was deathly ill.
There is more shooting in Dagestan today. Let’s hope it spreads.
That’s nice to hear! I didn’t expect more action there, at least not so soon.
