Ukrainian defenders showed a drone strike that was carried out on the takeoff point of Russian drones. This happened on the outskirts of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region.

The operation was carried out by servicemen from the reconnaissance and strike UAV groups of the “Gart” brigade of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in particular from the Falcon and “Fury” units. The corresponding video was shared on Tuesday, January 7, by the Telegram channel of the State Border Guard Service.

The recording contains footage of several attacks by our FPV drones on targets in the area of ​​the city of Vovchansk.

During one of the combat missions, border guards managed to detect the point from which the Russian invaders launch their drones.

The FPV of the defenders of Ukraine did not fail – it destroyed both the object itself and the entire crew of UAV operators of the invaders.

“Border air snipers” subdued enemy drones and their operators,” representatives of the State Border Service of Ukraine commented on the event.

As OBOZ.UA wrote:

– Earlier, the destruction of the enemy in the north of Kharkiv region was demonstrated by artillerymen of the “Gart” brigade of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. They struck at an important infrastructure of the Russian Federation troops and neutralized 34 invaders.

– According to an officer of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite the superiority in weapons and the complete destruction of the city, the Russians are not having tactical successes in the Vovchansk area.

    Hunting enemy drone operators is perhaps more important than downing their drones. Doing both is even better. Maybe the AFU has started a new trend.
