Actions in memory of those killed in Mariupol were held in Hungary, Germany and the Netherlands

Actions in memory of those killed in Mariupol were held in Budapest, Berlin and Amsterdam.

In Budapest, people gathered near the “Shoes on the Bank of the Danube” memorial dedicated to the memory of Hungarian Jews mercilessly exterminated by the Nazis, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote on his Facebook page. Before the murder, the national fascists forced people to take off their shoes.

Next to the bronze sculpture appeared 300 pairs of worn shoes, boots and boots. In memory of at least 300 women, children and the elderly who were killed by a Russian air bomb dropped on the Mariupol Drama Theatre.

“The message of Ukraine is simple. European leaders repeat “Never again” year after year. But history is repeating itself, right now, before our very eyes. Therefore, now it’s not enough to sympathize, you need to prove with concrete deeds that it’s really “Never again,” Kuleba wrote.

To support the inhabitants of the besieged Mariupol on Sunday, March 27, the inhabitants of Amsterdam also took to the square in the heart of the city.

On Saturday, an action of solidarity with Mariupol took place in Berlin, the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany reports on its Facebook page.

In front of the main entrance to the German Theater, actors, activists and Ukrainian diplomats wrote “CHILDREN” in large white letters. The inscription was made by analogy with the one at the bombed-out theater in Ukraine

“As a sign that Berlin is with Mariupol, and the German theater Berlin is with the destroyed Academic Drama Theater of Mariupol. A theater where children hid from Russian bombardments, about which Mariupol desperately screamed in capital letters – so that it could be seen from the planes. Unfortunately, this did not stop the enemy,” the Embassy said in a statement.

  1. So, Moskovia is left with massive sanctions, some banks removed from SWIFT, athletes removed from international sports, McDonalds and Apple are gone, airplanes are grounded, trade has largely stopped, trains won’t leave the country to the west, they are removed from several international political organizations and their leaders will soon report to the Hague and the people of Russia will know what their leaders have done in Ukraine. What will their reaction be? This is the main question. Will they continue as they have the last 500 years or will they demand a better future? They could do more damage to the fascists in the Kremlin than any sanctions or foreign army can do.
