For participation in the war, the Russian Federation offers mercenaries $2,000 a month and Russian citizenship
Relatives of Nepalese who are fighting in Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation demand Moscow to return their relatives.

Russia has recruited about 15 thousand residents into its ranks, offering them $2,000 for their service, CNN reports .
“I didn’t join the Russian army for fun. I didn’t have any opportunity to find a job in Nepal. But looking back, it was not the right decision. We didn’t imagine that we would be sent to the front line so quickly and how terrible the situation would be,” he said one of the Nepalese mercenaries.
He explained that he decided to go to war because he did not have a job at home. For this he was offered $2,000 a month and Russian citizenship. When he arrived in Moscow, he was sent there for a short study, after which he went to fight in Bakhmut. He stayed there for about a month, after which he was wounded.
“There is not a single piece of land in Bakhmut that has not been damaged by bombs. All the trees, bushes and greenery… they are no longer there. Most of the houses are destroyed. The situation there is so terrible that you want to cry,” said a mercenary who fought on the side occupiers.
In total, as CNN reports, about 15 thousand Nepalese took part in the war on the side of the Russian Federation. At least 2,000 of them are missing. Family members of the mercenaries are demanding that the authorities return their husbands home. But politicians are significantly reducing the number of Nepalese mercenaries participating in the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to their information, about 200 Nepalese citizens are participating in the war.
