The Minister of Internal Affairs, other government officials, as well as the SBU were instructed to prepare a humanitarian plan for the territory of the operation.

The operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region continues . About 1,000 square kilometers of the territory of the Russian Federation are now under the control of Ukraine,  said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi Syrskyi at a meeting of the Staff.

“Offensive operation on the territory of the Kursk region. At the moment, about a thousand square kilometers of the territory of the Russian Federation are under our control,” he said.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, noted that at the meeting of the Stavka, the most important thing was Sirskyi’s report on our defensive actions at the front and operations in the Kursk region.

“We are grateful to all soldiers and commanders for their steadfastness and decisive actions,” the president emphasized.

At the same time, he added that the Minister of Internal Affairs, other government officials, and the SBU were instructed to prepare a humanitarian plan for the territory of the operation.

Zelenskyi also noted that the report of the economic bloc, First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko was heard.

“We are increasing the share of Ukrainian production in public procurement. The government is preparing long-term, projected contracts for 5-10 years for our enterprises,” he said.

The President noted that the Coordination Headquarters, the State Security Service, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been instructed to prepare a clear and transparent strategy for the return of our people from Russian captivity.

“To the Ministry of Defense and diplomats – to present a list of necessary actions on our part to obtain permission from our partners to use long-range weapons to protect our territory,” stated Zelenskyy.
