Another victim is in intensive care.

A young woman who was wounded during an attack by attack drones in the Kyiv region on Friday, January 3, has died. This was reported by  the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

“A young woman who was wounded as a result of the fall of a downed enemy target during yesterday’s massive UAV attack on the Kyiv region has died. The woman, born in 2002, was wounded in the stomach. Doctors fought for her life until the very end for almost a day. But the wound was very serious,” the statement said.

It is noted that another victim – a man born in 1953, who was wounded in the back yesterday evening – is in intensive care. Another victim – a young guy who was wounded in the knee – is under the supervision of doctors.

“At night, the enemy continued to attack the Kyiv region with UAVs. Air defense forces were operating in the region. There are targets shot down. Falling debris is recorded in open areas outside populated areas,” the OVA added.

Attack on Kyiv region on January 3

On the night of Friday, January 3, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with “shahed” type attack drones. Some of the “shaheds” attacked the capital. The air defense system was activated in Kyiv. Drone fragments fell in the Holosiivskyi and Darnitskyi districts of Kyiv.

As a result of an enemy air attack on the Kyiv region, one person was killed and four were wounded . In particular, in one of the districts of the region, a truck driver died from injuries from debris from a downed target. The man died at the scene.
