A new private club has been created in Washington, D.C., which only includes very wealthy supporters of US President Donald Trump . This is reported by Politico , whose journalists have reviewed the invitation to the club.

The Executive Branch club was launched by Donald Trump Jr., mega-donor Omid Malik, and several other investors. It is invitation-only, and costs more than half a million dollars.

The publication shared that the club will host exclusive meetings after the White House Correspondents’ Gala Dinner. It will be located in the historic Georgetown district.

According to the newspaper’s interlocutors familiar with the club’s rules, the main goal is to create the most exclusive private club in Washington, which will include businessmen and technology magnates who want to strengthen their relations with the Trump administration. The club’s closedness and high cost of invitation are designed to provide senior management with the opportunity to communicate with advisers and members of Trump’s cabinet without prying eyes from the press and insiders.

The club’s first event coincides with the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which Trump is set to skip. According to the publication’s sources, the US president’s aides are also staying away from the journalistic festivities.

The publication said that members of the Trump administration and its allies, as well as White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt, will attend the party at the club.

The journalists found out that the club is owned by Malik, his business partner Chris Buskirk, Trump Jr., and Zach and Alex Witkoff, who are the sons of US President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff. Also involved in the club’s founding are entrepreneur David Sachs, crypto investors the Winklevoss brothers, and venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya.
