A new checkpoint will open on the border of Ukraine and Poland: the date has been announced

The new checkpoint will be open to passenger and freight traffic.

A new automobile checkpoint “Nyzhankovychi – Malkhovychi” will be operational on the Ukrainian-Polish border on December 20, 2024. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram .

According to him, at a meeting on December 17, a corresponding agreement was approved between the governments of Ukraine and Poland.

It is noted that the new checkpoint will be open to passenger and freight traffic. Pedestrian traffic will begin after the construction of the appropriate infrastructure.

“The opening of a new checkpoint will reduce the burden on existing ones. It also expands the possibilities of Ukrainian exports. We continue to develop trade and economic ties between our states,” the Prime Minister added.
