As of 8:30 a.m. on July 30, it is known that a 31-year-old man was killed in the Svyatoshynskyi district of Kyiv as a result of a Russian attack.
Consequences of the Russian strike
As noted, two more people were injured in the Obolonsky and Svyatoshynsky districts and were taken to hospitals.
“As a result of the Russian attack, a market in the Obolonsky district was burned down and a postal operator’s office in Svyatoshynske was damaged. Cars parked nearby were also destroyed. Office buildings and warehouses were also damaged,” the report says.










Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into another war crime, resulting in the death of a man (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), has been launched.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
Massive strike on July 30
- On the night of July 30, 2026, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine, using missiles and strike drones. Hits, destruction, and fires were recorded in a number of regions:
- Russian forces attacked the capital with ballistic missiles. The strikes caused fires and one person was killed.
- Residential buildings were damaged after a rocket attack in Lviv . According to preliminary data, the strikes caused fires in high-rise buildings on Patona and Vyhovskogo streets.
- Russia attacked the Poltava region with drones. In the Poltava district, a warehouse of a private enterprise was hit – one person died. The Nova Poshta terminal was also hit, where a fire broke out, which was extinguished by rescuers.
