On the morning of November 8, the Defense Forces damaged the bridge over the Mius River in the Rostov region. Traffic across it is organized in reverse mode.

A Russian official reported the effective strike on the bridge on his Telegram channel at 06:29.
“This morning, as a result of an air attack and the fall of UAV debris on the 97th kilometer of the R-280 highway in the Neklinivka district, the roadbed of the bridge over the Mius River was damaged, and construction equipment was also damaged – 2 crawler cranes. There were no injuries. Emergency services are working at the scene. Traffic across the bridge is organized in the reverse direction. The information will be clarified,” Slyusar wrote.

Disabling the bridge over the Mius River would deal a serious blow to Russian troops in Ukraine. According to the Mariupol Resistance Telegram channel, this engineering structure is among 30 bridges that “support the logistics of war.”
This list includes 15 railway bridges in the Belgorod and Rostov regions:
- Valuyki – a bridge across the Oskol River.
