1989 Beginning of the World Wide Web.
1991 Collapse of USSR. KGB becomes FSB
2001: 9/11 attack on New York. USA takes eyes away from Russia
FSB identify world wide web as a back door into NATO
FSB awaken hundreds of assets that have been groomed for years with political support, money and blackmail in the western powers.
FSB assists many minor candidates in politics in the hope that with continued assistance, a few will rise to high office.
Other coerced and willing assets are developed in finance, business and other influential groups such as royal families.
One asset is provided with enormous wealth earned through manipulation of the stock market. He is ordered to establish a top level relaxation zone on a private island for top people to meet with complete security. Many forbidden luxuries or temptations are provided to those who desire them. Evidence of illegal activity is recorded and stored for ‘leverage’ .
FSB use such leverage to influence the selection of the party leader who will run for high office.
FSB finance and flood the www with enough propaganda to swing the independent vote and their man becomes President.
The stage is set for a Russian asset to become president.
The new President is ordered to undermine the US system by removing established professionals in office and replacing them with controlled assets. He appoints hundreds of new judges, the House of Representatives is filled with representatives who are controlled, some by blackmail. The head of the FBI is fired, a member of the Supreme Court is bribed and the Department of Justice is controlled by a ‘pliable’ Attorney General.
The President has control of Congress. He begins to undermine NATO by withdrawing troops from Europe while pushing for the end of operations in Afghanistan.
A pandemic creates an unexpected crisis and slows the plan down. By the time the pandemic ends a new election cycle has begun.
The President needs a second term to complete his mission of destroying NATO. He accepts the same assistance as before provided he supports an invasion of Ukraine. He slows down arms and funding to Ukraine and continues to weaken the US presence in Europe and openly supports the Russian president.
The President is defeated in the election, so a challenge is mounted. This descends into an attempted coup that fails because the US military refuse to support it when retired Generals publicly remind serving officers their allegiance is to the Constitution not to political leader.
Believing the USA is now at its weakest the takeover of Ukraine goes ahead but fails.
The defeated President undermines attempts to indict him with endless delays until he can run for office again. The Island owner is arrested and suspiciously dies in Prison, the corrupt Judge remains. Congress is divided and funding to Ukraine is halted. After two years the war continues. China demands the return of land taken by Russia at the end of WW2.
The election is due again. The race for world power is on.
Would you believe it?

Another post from Robin from Jan 29, 2024:
Some twisted idea of making a better world.
The future of our world balances precariously on the tip of a needle. On one side sits democracy and on the other autocracy. The people are identical. Both sides contain the saint and sinner, the genius and the fool, the helpful and the cruel. They differ only in their beliefs.
Democracy believes that all should have a say, and the decision sits with the majority, provided it complies with the rule of law, – for the good of the people. Autocracy believes that good order stems from obedience to law and that law lies with the leader, – for the good of the people.
These ideas have confronted mankind for centuries. Kings, sultans, presidents, conquerers and Holy men have all ruled as tyrants. In the past 100 years we have seen Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Mao, Kim and Pol Pot murder millions in the name of far flung ideas that they were improving the world. Once started we kill until we grow tired of killing.
For the past eighty years the scales have tipped delicately towards democracy. During that period the 1940s carried just enough weight in the memories of the living to maintain the rule of law. Those memories are almost all gone. The horror and the appalling cruelty and guilt of the peoples concerned have faded into history. There are few countries who can truly consider themselves blameless. From nations that ignored, appeased, or surrendered to those who willingly carried out the wishes of their conquerers, they all bore their own secrets to the grave but at least most tried to create a better world for us from the devastation.
If we are not to repeat the mistakes of our grandfathers we must open our eyes and recognise that hate, envy and fear are being used to undermine our ability to continue in that same spirit. We are being instructed to blame ‘others’ for losses that have yet to occur, to fear the man who speaks a different language, who worships another God or who has a different skin.
If we allow our base emotions to control us, we will all find ourselves going back eighty years, to the time when grandparents. parents and grandchildren were marched into forests, stripped naked and shot by willing volunteers, in the name of some twisted idea of making a better world. Most of us lack the courage to say ‘no’ when confronted with the barrel of a gun. We must act now before our values and virtues are crushed. The United Nations, European Community and the US Constitution are glues that hold democracy in place.
Putin we know, his soldiers have already shown a tendency to enjoy their work against unarmed civilians, but the enemy abroad is nowhere near as dangerous as the enemy within. Trump, Bannon, Taylor Green, Jordan, Orban, and other players are devouring democracy from the inside while they direct our eyes elsewhere.
The scales are tipping. Be warned! In their hands, no one is safe.
