Denmark understands that the front in Ukraine is fighting for the future not only of Ukrainians themselves, but also of other Europeans.
The US decision to halt arms supplies to Ukraine will be a serious blow not only to Kyiv, but also to all of Europe and even NATO, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was quoted as saying by Reuters .
“If the US decides not to provide Ukraine with what it needs, it will be a serious setback for Ukraine, for Europe, and for NATO,” said the Danish Prime Minister, who took over the EU presidency in July.
Frederiksen emphasized that the war in Ukraine has never been a problem only for Ukrainians.
“This is a war for the future of Europe,” she stressed.
