As Censor.NET reports , citing a statement by the commander of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” Denys Prokopenko, the world should know about the scale of Russia’s crimes against Ukrainian prisoners.

“The whole world should know about the scale of our enemy’s bloodthirstiness and sadism,” Prokopenko emphasized.

Over 600 Azov fighters remain in captivity

According to the commander, more than 600 Azov servicemen are still in Russian captivity. Among them are about 100 defenders who survived the terrorist attack in Olenivka.

Prokopenko noted that many of them were wounded, but did not receive proper medical care, so it is these prisoners of war who need to be returned first.

A call to strengthen work on exchanges

The commander of “Azov” appealed to everyone involved in prisoner exchange issues in Ukraine and abroad, calling on them not to stop drawing attention to Russia’s crimes and to make every effort to return the Ukrainian defenders.
