Zelensky just called out Russia’s latest round of deceit, and honestly, it couldn’t be clearer: Putin has zero interest in peace, and Trump is once again proving how utterly useless he is.

After so-called “ceasefire” negotiations, Russia turned around and launched another massive attack—117 drones, most of them targeting civilians. Zelensky summed it up perfectly: Every time Russia signs onto some Trump-brokered deal, they immediately violate it, proving they have no intention of stopping their war of terror.

And what’s Trump doing? Playing pretend diplomat while feeding into Putin’s games. The man is out here treating international war negotiations like one of his failed real estate deals. He even said it himself—he’s “staying in the game” without actually committing to anything. That’s classic Trump: lots of bluster, no results.

His administration announced an “agreement” between Ukraine and Russia to stop hostilities in the Black Sea and energy sectors, but—surprise, surprise—Russia is already ignoring it. Meanwhile, Trump is bending over backward to “restore Russia’s access” to global markets. So, while Ukraine fights for its survival, Trump is making sure Putin gets his precious fertilizer exports back on track. What a negotiator.

The problem? Trump isn’t in this to actually help Ukraine. He’s in this to stroke his own ego, score political points, and pretend he’s some master dealmaker—when in reality, he’s just getting played. His own allies in Europe know it, too. They’re watching as he cozies up to Putin while making weak excuses about “not tolerating” the war anymore. Spoiler alert: He doesn’t care about Ukraine, democracy, or even America’s interests. He only cares about himself.

Ukraine needs real allies, not a washed-up conman treating war like a reality show. Trump can pat himself on the back all he wants, but the world sees him for what he is—Putin’s useful idiot, making weak deals while the bombs keep falling.

That puts things in a nutshell about the convicted felon in the White House, regarding this war.
