๐ฌ๐ฟ The Venice Film Festival is offering free ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ on the international stage.
1๏ธโฃ First, do you realize that these guys will go straight from the Venice Film Festival to the frontlines in Ukraine where they ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ, ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ญ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐?
2๏ธโฃ Second, how can we allow to legitimise ๐ข๐ง๐ฏ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ again?
Maybe after 9/11, we should have listened to the ๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฌ? Maybe we should have built a bridge instead? Why did the West start the ๐ฐ๐๐ซ?
“Since the beginning of the war on February 24, 2022, there have been a lot of bridges destroyed between Russia and the West,”
Trofimova, the Russian-Canadian director told reporters ahead of the premiere of her film “Russians at War”.
“I would like this film to be maybe not a bridge, but at least a rope I can throw across and to help us see each other.”

But they don’t even show a sigh that they are wrong or responsible:
“In Russia, they are these heroes who never die. In the West, they are mostly ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฌ.”
Trofimova said she saw no signs of ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฌ during her time near the front. “I think in Western media, that’s what Russian soldiers are associated with at this point, because there were no other stories. This is another story,” she said.
3๏ธโฃ Third, I don’t understand at all how is it possible for russian soldiers to receive visa to come to Europe? Why aren’t they stopped and prosecuted? They literally come from Ukraine which they are invading where over 120,000 war crimes were committed.
How can Ukrainians feel safe even in Europe when ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ง ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ข๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ค๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐๐ง๐ฌ, are welcomed here?

Austria siding with Russia is a disgrace and a kick in the teeth to the vast majority of other EU countries rightly supporting Ukraine.
So much work need to done in Italy to stop those propagandists spreading fake information.
Italy has been identified as a key target for russian propaganda, which seeks to undermine European unity and destabilize Western democracies. Russian media outlets, troll farms, and political allies in Italy have been involved in amplifying pro-russian and anti-Western narratives, especially regarding issues like NATO, the European Union, and Ukraine.
This is really sickening that this ‘film’ was even admitted to the Festival. So you want ‘bridges’, ruzzia? What about just removing all your troops and weapons from Ukraine??? It is even more sickening that this ‘film’ was made with active participation of many Westerners. Pecunia (dollars, not roubles) non olet?
This is not giving the occupiers a chance to repent, but giving them the opportunity to lie and mock the victims while missiles are flying above the heads of Ukrainians. This is giving the floor to Russian propaganda. And this raises many questions.
Yana, it’s not Russian soldiers but as Reuters state Russian- Canadian director who is in Venice presenting the film https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/russian-soldiers-given-their-chance-speak-venice-2024-09-05/ together with producers. So Russian soldiers do not even need to stop killing. They will go own while the “Europeen elites” will put on their best dresses, drink champagne and together with director of this movie will, in her words, experience “the biggest shock was to see how ordinary they were. Absolutely ordinary guys with families, with a sense of humour, with their own understanding of what’s happening in this war.” ๐คฎ Have we totally lost all the moral values???
