Law enforcement officers in the Zhytomyr region detained a 17-year-old girl who helped the FSB poison Ukrainian military personnel.

On the instructions of the Russian curator, the girl packaged the drugs and sent them by mail, indicating fictitious sender details. For this, she was promised at least 5,000 hryvnias.

“The organizers contacted the military via Telegram and offered free drugs. After receiving the packages, they were instructed to take them on camera. The recipients did not know that the capsules contained a lethal dose of methadone.

Two military personnel died from poisoning in the Zhytomyr region. While investigating these murders, the police identified other recipients of the packages. This prevented four more murders – in the Kirovohrad, Zaporizhia, Chernivtsi, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions,” the report says.

The girl has now been charged with aiding and abetting the premeditated murder of two people by prior conspiracy and the transfer of narcotics and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.

She faces up to 15 years in prison. She is also being investigated for involvement in other crimes.
