The Ukrainian Defense Forces reduced the number of the Russian occupation army by 1,480 invaders in the 24 hours of September 8. Russia’s total combat losses in manpower amounted to 1,500,870.

Hundreds of enemy equipment and weapons were also eliminated. Updated data on Russian losses was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy losses for September 8

During the day on September 8, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated or wounded another 1,480 Russian invaders. On the morning of September 9, the enemy’s total combat losses crossed the 1.5 million mark and amounted to 1,500,870 people.

The enemy also lost 6 tanks (a total of 12,338 destroyed), 5 armored combat vehicles (25,290), 42 artillery systems (49,383), 1 MLRS (2,105), and 1 air defense system (1,613).

The list of losses of the Russian army was also replenished with 1,879 operational-tactical-level UAVs (506,188) and 13 ground robotic complexes (2,534).

530 units of automotive equipment and tank trucks (146,008), 3 units of special equipment (4,650) were put out of service.

The defenders also shot down 33 enemy cruise missiles (5,103).

In addition, during the full-scale war, 441 aircraft, 355 helicopters, 35 ships/boats, and 2 submarines of the Russian army have already been destroyed.

Enemy losses for September 7

During the day on September 7, Ukrainian defenders destroyed one armored vehicle and 30 artillery systems. Total enemy losses amounted to 12,332 tanks, 25,285 armored personnel carriers, and 49,341 artillery systems.

Russian terrorists also lost one unit of multiple launch rocket systems, 3 air defense systems, and 5 ground robotic complexes in a day.

Ukrainian troops destroyed 1,592 operational-tactical UAVs and disposed of 452 units of automotive equipment and tanker trucks.

Russian Army losses for September 6

The soldiers of the SOU reduced the number of the Russian army by 1,540 occupiers in a day on September 6. The total losses of the Russian Federation in personnel during the full-scale war as of the morning of September 7 reached 1,497,980 people.

The Russians also lost 1 tank (a total of 12,332 units of this equipment have already been destroyed), 6 armored combat vehicles (25,284), 51 artillery systems (49,311), 7 MLRS (2,103), and 4 air defense systems (1,609).

1,473 operational-tactical level UAVs (502,717) and 9 ground robotic complexes (2,516) were also destroyed.

The list of enemy losses was also supplemented by 591 units of automotive equipment and tank trucks (145,026) and 3 units of special equipment (4,647).

In addition, from February 24, 2022 to the morning of September 7, 2026, Russia lost 441 aircraft, 355 helicopters, 35 ships/boats, and 2 submarines. The General Staff also reports 5,070 enemy cruise missiles shot down.
