An entire forest has now grown on the site of the stadium.

The Shakhtar stadium in temporarily occupied Donetsk continues to collapse. In particular, the network showed what the place, where many football matches were held, looks like now.

In turn, Ukrainian blogger and journalist Denys Kazansky , commenting on the photos, told how he watched football matches at this stadium.

“Donetsk. Shakhtar Stadium. We used to come here with friends to watch football. Over the 11 years of the Russian world, a whole forest has grown at the stadium,” Kazansky wrote.

As a reminder, the stadium is located in the central park of culture and recreation in temporarily occupied Donetsk. It was opened in September 1936 and restored in 2000.

This stadium also hosted Shakhtar’s first UEFA Champions League match in 2000. Since the occupation of Donetsk, the stadium has not been operational.

  1. Look at the linked pictures: Trees are growing between the remaining chairs………………RUSSKI MIR!

  2. Scourge of the earth, neanderthals would be embarrassed, these demons must be done with…

  3. The ruskie mir has always been a shithole. Anyone who saw Eastern Europe after the fall of the Soviet Union would have to fully agree. From the West German border all the way to Vladivostok, everything was gray, crumbling, and dilapidated.
