President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is currently experiencing one of the most difficult moments of the war – the pressure is unprecedented, and the state may face an “extremely difficult choice”:
🇺🇦 Either preserve dignity. Or risk losing a key partner. Or accept extremely difficult conditions. Or endure the harshest winter.
Zelenskyy emphasized: Ukraine will not go down the path of losing its freedom or territory. “I gave my answer back in 2019 when I took the oath of office. It is a vow that I will not betray.” The president emphasized that Kyiv would work quietly, professionally, and persistently with the US and all its partners, giving Russia no opportunity to claim that Ukraine was allegedly “undermining diplomacy.”
🛡 Our fundamental red lines are the dignity and freedom of Ukrainians. This is the foundation of Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and future.
Zelenskyy called on Ukrainians to unite: 📌 “Stop the quarrels. Parliament must work together. The government must work effectively. We must remember who the real enemy is.”
The president reminded everyone that Ukraine did not retreat on the first day of the invasion: 🇺🇦 “The enemy did not see our backs, but our eyes, ready to fight for what is ours. This is dignity. This is freedom.” Today, when Ukraine is holding the front against one of the largest armies in the world and burying its people every day, we have no right to allow division within.
Zelenskyy emphasized: 📌 Ukraine will fight for a dignified peace. 📌 Next week will be one of the most difficult. 📌 There will be significant political and informational pressure. 📌 Russia will do everything to weaken and divide Ukrainians. 💬 “Will we let them do that? We have no right to. I know I am not alone. Behind me stands the people of Ukraine. Millions of people who have dignity, freedom, and the right to peace. 🇺🇦 We will stand strong. We are united. We are Ukraine.
