Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses, preparations for the winter, and defense cooperation during a phone call with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
According to Zelenskyy, the leaders focused on enhancing protection against Russian ballistic missile attacks, including the supply of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
They also discussed expanding joint weapons production and measures to strengthen Ukraine’s energy resilience ahead of the winter heating season.
The talks come as Ukraine continues to seek additional air defense capabilities and international support to protect critical infrastructure from ongoing Russian missile and drone attacks.
