President Volodymyr Zelensky issued one of his clearest warnings yet: Russia is actively trying to involve Belarus more deeply in the war and may be preparing new aggressive operations toward Chernihiv, Kyiv, or even NATO countries bordering Belarus.
In this update, I break down three major developments that should not be ignored.
First, Zelensky warned that Ukrainian intelligence sees growing Russian activity with Alexander Lukashenko and Belarus. He also revealed that Russian documents discuss possible direct strikes on Kyiv, including political and military facilities — even Bankova, the street where the Office of the President of Ukraine is located.
Second, Vladimir Putin signed a new law simplifying Russian citizenship for residents of Transnistria, the Russian-controlled breakaway region of Moldova. This is the same dangerous passport playbook Russia has used before to justify future aggression.
Third, Sergey Lavrov made an alarming statement, calling Zelensky the “Führer” and pushing the same extreme ideology that shows why Russia must be defeated.
Ukraine is warning the world. Belarus, Transnistria, Moldova, the Baltics, and Kyiv are all part of the wider picture. The question is whether the world is listening.
