Ukraine and the United States are working on a “mega deal” under which the United States would buy Ukrainian battlefield-tested drones in exchange for Kyiv’s agreement to purchase a certain batch of weapons from America, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the New York Post .

The Ukrainian leader explained that his recent talks with Trump focused on a breakthrough deal that would see the U.S. and Ukraine share their air technology. He said Kyiv offered to share everything it had learned about modern warfare during its three-year conflict with Russia.

The article states that this agreement could be transformative for the US military and national security, as, according to officials and experts, American technology lags far behind Russian and Chinese, and American soldiers are poorly trained in using drones and protecting themselves from similar enemy devices.

“The American people need this technology, and you need to have it in your arsenal. I think this is really a mega-deal, as they say, a win-win,” Zelensky told the newspaper’s correspondent.

  1. If the US are smart they would trade all the Ukrainian knowledge for weapons. Watching the US bragging about taking 5 years to develop a drone to drop a bomb in controlled conditions was pathetic. Meanwhile, Ukraine are taking down choppers with missiles launched from drone boats.
