Zelenskyy: Russian losses outnumber Ukrainian 8 to 1 in northern Kharkiv

The Russian offensive in northern Kharkiv region began a little over two weeks ago. Losses in this direction are 8 Russians to 1 Ukrainian, according to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Central Asian media.

He stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not care about human lives or what language they speak. In particular, he is indifferent to Russians, both civilians and military.

“Their breakthrough towards Kharkiv, which happened a little over two weeks ago, resulted in military casualties of 1 to 8, one Ukrainian to eight Russians,” Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, as of this week, there have been about 2-3 thousand casualties among the occupiers.

“But he doesn’t care at all. Putin is at the bathhouse, or wherever he is – at the spa, which has been shown more than once. He’s busy with something else. But he won’t wash his little hands clean of this bloodshed,” the head of state noted.

Russian offensive

Since May 10, the Russian army has launched an offensive in northern Kharkiv region. Currently, battles are ongoing in the city of Vovchansk and nearby settlements. According to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians are bogged down in street fighting in Vovchansk.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, the Russian troops planned to reach and capture Vovchansk in two days and reach Kharkiv in five days.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Defense Forces have stopped the occupiers in the Kharkiv region and are attacking when possible.

    • It appears their summer offensive against a country with no weapons, is a huge failure.

      • I can’t wait to see the casualty figure once Ukraine has enough ammo and heavy weapons.

        • Maybe thats the reason for the attack on the supermarket, putlers offensive has failed miserably, but being the spiteful bastsrd he is, someone has to suffer.

          • Maybe you’re right about this, foccusser. He sure enjoys killing civilians as much as anyone else.

    • Yup, everything up from 5:1 makes Russia fall behind. 8:1 very obviously is not sustainable. The increasing labor shortage in Putinstan proves that. And recent anti-migration measures have made it even worse. In light of this, the dictator may really dream about a negotiated truce in which he can keep the territorial gains. That won’t happen, though. 😈

      • No, that won’t happen, because the creature is obviously insane and he’s willing to send the last piece of meat into the grinder.
