In his opinion, American policy is capable of giving Ukraine what it wants
Ukraine can begin negotiations with Russia only after meeting with the newly elected President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and receiving security guarantees.
This was stated by the country’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with American podcaster Lex Friedman. The researcher said that he dreams of signing a peace treaty between Ukraine and Russia after agreements on a ceasefire and providing Kyiv with strong security guarantees. Zelensky replied as follows:
“I think that on January 25 or another day, we sit down first of all with Trump. We agree with him how we are able to stop the war and Putin. And it is very important for us that Europe, of which we are a part, also has a voice.”
The president noted that a conversation with Moscow is possible only after Kyiv is offered security guarantees. In his opinion, Trump is capable of doing this. “And that’s exactly what happened, and not just the three of us immediately sat down [at the negotiating table],” Zelensky added.

As a reminder, the podcaster suggested that the Ukrainian leader communicate in Russian , but he refused. The conversation lasted for more than three hours.
The President recalled the indecision of some countries before the start of a full-scale invasion, and also spoke about security guarantees for Ukraine .

Not at all. I believe that anyone who believed that trumpkov would solve the war between Russia and Ukraine in 24 hours, or that he would “get it settled before [he] even become[s] president”, is a fool.
We have 2 weeks left to see if trumpkov lied about that the same way he lies about everything else. (Remember when trumpkov promised to release his taxes before the 2016 election? Anyone still waiting for that? LOL.)
