The affected facilities were used by the Russians to supply sanctioned components for the production of drones.

Ukrainian long-range drones operated in three directions on Russian territory, as well as on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory and at sea.
This is how President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the strikes on the Russian Federation. “In response to Russian strikes on our civilian infrastructure, our cities and communities, two significant logistics facilities were hit – in the Moscow and Tambov regions, at a distance of over 500 and about 700 kilometers from the front line,” the head of state noted.
Zelenskyy detailed that the affected facilities were used by the Russians to ensure the supply of sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment.
“An oil facility was also hit. In addition, Ukrainian middle strikes worked on targets in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, and in our temporarily occupied Crimea,” the president added.
Strikes on Russia
As UNIAN reported, on the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked a number of Russian cities, including Moscow. The attack destroyed the Wildberries oil depot and logistics complex in Elektrostal, near Moscow. It is one of the largest facilities in the company’s network.
In the city of Kotovsk, Tambov region, the Wildberries logistics center-warehouse also caught fire due to a drone attack.
It was also loud in occupied Crimea. There, an explosion was heard near the Balaklava TPP in Sevastopol. At least 20 explosions were heard in the area of the “Gvardiyske” garrison.
