On Wednesday, 20 September, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on former US President Donald Trump to share his peace plan for ending the war in Ukraine.

Details: But the president cautioned that any peace plan that includes Kyiv giving up the territory is unacceptable.
Quote from Zelenskyy: “So (if) the idea is how to take the part of our territory and to give (Russian President Vladimir) Putin, that is not the peace formula.”

Trump has never been to Kyiv and never will. He despises Ukraine; proof of which can be found in books by John Bolton and Kurt Volker. He believes Ukraine is a “corrupt country”, yet has never levelled that accusation at putlerstan.
Trump believes that he is “the apple of his eye” (referring to putler).
In a sign of pure delusion he has stated that Ukraine is also “the apple of his eye.”
As John Bolton says, Trump has very firm opinions on things he knows nothing about.

The Trump hate is palpable. If Trump takes office and Putin withdraws his troops to 1991 borders, what will you say then? There will be no peace until that condition is met and everyone, including Trump, knows this. I’m not saying that scenario is likely. I think what’s most likely to happen over the next year is that Ukraine will liberate Crimea and Russia will focus all their forces in Donbas and the fighting will cool to pre-invasion levels. Thus a return to the “status quo” where Russia claims victory, rebuilds, and prepares for the next invasion when the US once again has weak leadership. Speaking of which, anything a politician says must be passed through a political filter. For example, when Trump “praised” the invasion, it was really a shot at Biden’s weak leadership. Everything these people say, 100% of the time, is said to give themselves a political advantage. You never really know what a politician believes inside their own mind.
