Details: Zelenskyy stressed that his trip to Armenia was the first visit at this level in 24 years, which he said was an important political signal.
In Yerevan, Zelenskyy also held talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. Following the conversation, the parties agreed to hold intergovernmental consultations next month.
“Diplomats will now decide whether it will be Bratislava or Kyiv. All ministers will be present, which is important; there will already be concrete things, cooperation. I also consider this a good signal,” the Ukrainian president said.
As reported, on the sidelines of the summit, Zelenskyy met Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze for the first time.
“We also spoke a little one-on-one with the Georgian prime minister for the first time in a long time. I believe this is also the right thing to do,” Zelenskyy commented on the meeting.
Background:
- Kobakhidze and a number of other figures from Georgia’s ruling party were placed under 10-year Ukrainian sanctions in 2024.
- Relations between official Kyiv and Tbilisi have remained extremely difficult in recent years, also because of the position of the ruling Georgian Dream party on the Russo-Ukrainian war and its constant accusations about alleged plans to “turn Georgia into a second front”.
- Georgia had been without a Ukrainian ambassador for almost four years before Mykhailo Brodovych was appointed to the post in January 2026.

Kobakhidze is a conspiracy theorist asshole. He’s a fan of OrbanaZi and of course Krasnov.
Cannot be trusted any more than his bosses : Ivanishvili and putler.
