The government only hypes itself, said the Chairman of Political Council of Opposition Platform – For Life party
The team of President Volodymyr Zelensky has not made a single move on the path to a peaceful solution of Donbas conflict. Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of Political Council of Opposition Platform – For Life party said so in the Parliament.
“The talks about an exchange are a PR move, made out of despair. That’s despair in terms of abiding by Minsk agreements: neither Zelensky nor his team is going to act in the interest of peaceful solution. They did not make a single serious real step towards a peaceful solution”, Medvedchuk said.
He explained that the exchange is currently impossible because there’s not a single identified person for that to happen.
“In terms of an exchange, I’ll refer to the statement of representatives of non-controlled territories, Donetsk and Luhansk. They already reacted to this information that appeared over the last few days. The statement was the following: “Currently, there is not a single person for the all-for-all exchange”. It’s the direct quotation of Donetsk and Luhansk representatives. That’s (…) reality, and what they’re feeding us is the statements that the exchange could take place in March. But you can imagine that – if there’s not a single identified person from either side, what kind of exchange could ever take place?”, the politician said.

I suppose you boss in the Kremlin has bent over backwards to implement Minsk, and ensure lasting peace in Ukraine?
The step Medvedchuk is looking for is surrender.
I agree. Zelensky had a big mouth before the elections, but now became a laughing stock. He could have traded the Crimea for Donbas or ordered a Blitz. Yet he’s only increasing corruption and economic decline. Who’s his boss? Putin?
Once again we have Putin’s puppets out in front of the microphones casting blame everywhere except where it should be. Medvedchuk has done everything possible to undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence. Zelensky would do well to put this 5th columnist in his place.
He never speaks about the Russian occupation of Donbas, why?
He is right.
And it is the only good move Ze has made.
For him it is an inconvenient reality.
Russians reject reality and substitute their own.
