As NV’s interlocutor noted, it is unlikely that the head of state will be removed from his post in the near future.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi is “generally not very happy” with the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi . NV writes about this  with reference to the statement of an interlocutor in the head of state’s team, who spoke on condition of anonymity. 

This is how the source of the publication answered the question “Is the behavior of the deputy of the SN Maryana Bezuglai, who is now criticizing the head of the commissar, evidence that the commander of the Armed Forces may be fired in the Office of the President (OP)?”. It is noted that the OP contains remarks to the head of the Armed Forces due to the unsuccessful preparation of Ukrainian troops for the offensive of the Russian army in the Kharkiv region.

“The dissatisfaction of the OP and the head of state is related, according to this source, both to the unsuccessful preparation for the Russian offensive in the Kharkiv region and to a number of other issues. However, as NV’s interlocutor assures, the head of state is unlikely to be removed from his post in the near future.” – writes NV. 

Changes in the military leadership of Ukraine

As you know, on June 24, 2024, it became known that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi decided to dismiss from the post of the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General  Yuriy Sodol . Brigadier General Andrii Hnatov, who, in particular, led the defense of Bakhmut in 2023, received this position. 

Later it became known that Hnatov will replace Sodol in one more position . He will also head the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping of troops, “UP” wrote. At the same time, the interlocutors of the publication said that the dismissal of the commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Sodol did not come as a surprise to the General Staff.
