Zelensky urges Macron not to play the game on two fronts

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed concern about the efforts of President of France Emmanuel Macron to repair relations with Moscow.

“You can’t play the game on two fronts here,” Zelensky told The Guardian in an interview.

Zelensky said it was important for Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron, the two other leaders in the so-called “Normandy four”, to put pressure on Putin. He said the French and German leaders were supporting Ukraine, but expressed concern about Macron’s efforts to simultaneously repair relations with Moscow.

  1. “You can’t play the game on two fronts here”.
No danger of that. The Franco-German quisling alliance has proved itself over and over again to be firmly on the side of a filthy fascist dictatorship that has murdered far more innocent Christians in Europe this century than the combined efforts of IQ/isis.

  2. “You can’t play the game on two fronts here,”
