The soldiers did not expect this.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky visited the location of the 65th separate mechanized brigade near the village of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region.

He reported this on Telegram. “It’s an honor to be here today. To support the soldiers and reward them. They have a difficult, decisive mission on their shoulders – to push back the enemy and protect Ukraine. We are proud of our soldiers, we thank everyone,” Zelensky wrote.

He emphasized that “all reasonable people in the world” understand that Ukrainian soldiers have the most difficult job, and all Ukrainians are proud of them.

According to the Office of the President, during a working trip to the Zaporozhye region, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky visited the forward positions of the Ukrainian military near the village of Rabotino.

Zelensky heard information about the operational situation from the commander of the Zaporozhye operational group of troops, Vladimir Gorbatyuk.

The leader of Ukraine also handed over the presidential award “Cross of Military Merit” to the commander of the reconnaissance platoon, senior lieutenant Andrei Olshansky, and also awarded the soldiers the Bohdan Khmelnitsky Order “For Courage.”

The video shows that one of the fighters took off his uniform and gave Zelensky the chevron of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

  1. I hope those brave defenders told Zelensky that Zaluzhny is right, that they need reinforcements and more time with their families. Replacing military leadership won’t change that reality.

  2. The world is waiting for the mafia rat to visit the ruskie troops. Oh, wait, they have more than enough problems with rodents.
