Russia itself has chosen to end the partial silence that has lasted for several days. Ukraine will act in a mirror manner. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, more than 200 strike drones were launched over Ukraine that night.

“Aerial bombs have been dropped on the front again – more than 80, more than 30 air strikes have been recorded,” the head of state noted.

He emphasized that strike drones were shot down in the Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv regions, in Kyiv and the region. There is damage to energy facilities, apartment buildings, a kindergarten, and there was even a strike on an ordinary civilian locomotive on the railway. It is known that there are injuries from these strikes. Unfortunately, there are also deaths.

“We said that we would act in a mirror-like manner in response to all Russian steps. Russia must end this war, and it is it that must take a step towards a real, lasting ceasefire. Until this happens, sanctions against Moscow are needed and must continue to work and strengthen. It is important that there is no weakening and that partners do not stand aside, but continue to work together for the sake of security, justice, and a reliable peace,” Zelensky emphasized.
