President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report by the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, on Operation “Cobweb”.

He wrote about this in his Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports .

Zelensky noted that planning for the operation lasted one year, six months and nine days.

“Our operation is the most far-reaching. Our people who prepared the operation were withdrawn from Russian territory in time. I thanked General Malyuk for this success of Ukraine. I instructed the Security Service of Ukraine to inform the society about the details and results of the operation, which may be made public. Of course, we cannot tell everything now, but these are Ukrainian actions that will definitely be in history textbooks. Ukraine is defending itself, and quite rightly so – we are doing everything to make Russia feel the need to end this war. Russia started this war, Russia must end it,” the head of state emphasized.

SBU special operation “Website”

According to Censor.NET sources, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine carried out special operation “Web” , launching a massive drone strike on Russian strategic aviation airfields.

The airfields “Olenya”, “Belaya”, “Diagilevo” and “Ivanovo” were under attack. 41 Russian aircraft were hit, including A-50, Tu-95 and Tu-22M3.

Later, the SBU clarified that the estimated cost of the enemy’s strategic aviation , which was hit today as a result of the SBU’s special operation “Website”, amounted to 7 billion US dollars.
