The office of the President of Ukraine commented on the statements of the leaders of the ” LDNR ” about the evacuation of the population.
As adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak said in a commentary to UNIAN, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not preparing any attacks or any strikes in Donbas.
“Obviously, the occupiers really want to provoke our forces into any massive actions in order to present this as an excuse for their aggressive actions or possible escalation steps of Russia,” he said.
Podolyak suggested that part of this tactic could be the occupiers’ calculation to hit one of the so-called “evacuation columns”, kill civilians “whom they use for propaganda”, and then blame Ukraine for this.
“Obviously, no one will believe in this setting of the invaders. The democratic world has already become convinced that the Russian side is trying to create a pretext for escalation steps. We unequivocally assert that they will not be able to realize this intention,” the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office emphasized.
