This is one of the most intense and destructive attacks on Zaporizhzhia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Russian forces have launched a massive MLRS barrage, striking residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
Dozens of explosions are shaking the city. Fires are raging in multiple locations, and several residential buildings have been hit. At least five civilians are reported injured, with the number likely to rise as emergency services work through the night.
Local residents are urged to stay in shelters as air raid alerts continue in many cities.
